Summer!
Sun, nice weather, seasonal allergies and lots of time for oneself!
Well...the last copuple of years that part of "lots of time" hasn´t been fully accomplished. For one reason or another, i always ended up working on december and part of january (last summer, because of the student strike, we even had classes until the end of january! no so great...). So my whole summer its reduced to february. So, believe me, im really looking forward to those free and happy days.
My perfect holidays must be something like:
-A couple of weeks to recover from the stress of the final exams, lots of napping time. Cleaning time, throwing away old things, etc.
-Then, a visit to my parents to our home in Copiapó. Once i´m there its always fun to visit old friends from school, go exploring into the desert with the family and friends, going to de beach, etc.
-And then (this is my favorite and most expected moment of the summer) making a trip with John!!! Ideally to Perú or Bolivia. A good holyday isn´t complete without travelling. There´s no more exciting thing to do that go to an unknown city, with a different culture, new food, another language...even another currency! Those kind of challenges are lots of fun. We really try to take the most of the time we spent travelling, so we try to visit all the museums, archeological sites, churches, typical neighborhoods, etc. Traveling alone can be nice too, but do it with John is always better!
This summer i really hope that we can go back to La Paz, Bolivia. If everything goes as planned that must happen!
